Celebrating Miracles

At this time of the year we see much evidence of the celebration of miracles In the Judeo-Christian tradition. People all over the world are reminded of the virgin birth and the one-day supply of oil that lasted for 8 days. There are celebrations of miracles throughout the year of different cultural traditions. How do you celebrate miracles?

What if we celebrated the daily miracles of life? Starting with the miracle of our own lives. Each person is unique in what they bring to the world. All that they bring, not just what we judge to be good or bad. Be the miracle of life that you were born to be. Embrace every facet of who you are. Try looking at every characteristic and every experience as a tool to achieve your soul purpose. Your soul purpose is to be the best version of you possible on a daily purpose. I can not think of one time when a person’s soul purpose would be to harm another human being in any way.

This practice of self-awareness and self-acceptance will enhance the ability to see the miracles of life. I know this to be true because I utilize this practice, teach others this practice, and am blessed to be invited to share in this practice with others. Give this an opportunity in your life. If it doesn’t bring you more peace and joy than judging yourself and others harshly, you can always stop the practice. You can pick it back up anytime you want. Oh yea, remember that we are constantly evolving. This means the practice is a process journey and not a final destination.
