Inspire

I have been inspired by many in my lifetime.  As a child, I was inspired by the faith and humility of St. Bernadette.  I wanted the deep and unwavering belief that she is known for.  As a young woman I was inspired by Elizabeth Blackwell, Maya Angelou, Oprah, Georgia O’Keefe, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Nelson Mandela; just to name a few. I was born with an innate drive to defend the oppressed.  These people were doing just that. 

I now have a deep and unwavering faith.  I have spent my life working diligently as a social worker with a focus on being a champion of the oppressed.  The influence of the people who inspired me, my own life experiences, my faith, and all the people that have allowed me to share in their miracles have brought me a life that is beyond my wildest dreams.

My hope for you is that you will find the people current or past/alive or passed on who inspire you and know that you too can have what inspires you.  Your path will be different than theirs and anyone else’s but it will be yours and magnificent.  My hope for you is that you will love, and your heart will be full of love that starts with you.  Take this and inspire others!
